(ANSA) - ROME, MAY 31 - The blue Martina Trevisan qualified for the semifinals of the Roland Garros tournament, beating Canadian Laylah Fernandez in the quarterfinals, with a score of 6-2, 6-7, 6-3.
To win a place in the final, the Florentine will have to face the winner of the match between the US Coco Gauff and Sloane Stephens.
After winning the first game, Trevisan had a matchpoint in her second but missed it and was dragged to the tiebreak, lost 7-3.
In the decisive set, the blue resumed the match in hand, winning 6-3.
