Catherine Deneuve was awarded the Golden Lion for Lifetime Achievement at the 79th Venice Biennale International Film Festival, scheduled from 31 August to 10 September.
The decision was taken by the Board on the proposal of the Director of the Exhibition Alberto Barbera.
