Algeria suspends the friendship treaty with Spain

(ANSA) - ALGIERS, JUN 08 - Algeria has decided to immediately suspend the treaty of friendship, good neighborliness and cooperation with Spain, signed on October 8, 2002, after the position taken by the premier, Pedro Sanchez, who confirmed the Madrid's support for Rabat on the Western Sahara conflict.

This was announced by the Algerian presidency, reports the Algerian state TV.
