Navy Day is celebrated on 10 June, on the anniversary of Premuda's action, one of the most significant and daring actions carried out on the sea during the First World War.
The 2022 Navy Day will be celebrated in the city of Gaeta, a city united to the Navy by a historical link that dates back to 1861, when with the surrender of the stronghold the conditions were created for the merger of the Sardinian and Bourbon Navy. In the presence of the Minister of Defense, Lorenzo Guerini, of the Chief of Defense Staff, Admiral Giuseppi Cavo Dragone, of the Chief of Staff of the Navy, Admiral Enrico Credendino and of other military and civilian positions.
The event will be visible in live streaming from 9.45 am on the Facebook page and on the Youtube channel of the Navy.
