Ursula von der Leyen, president of the European Commission, arrived at the Capitol and was welcomed by the mayor Roberto Gualtieri at the Sixtus IV entrance of Palazzo Senatorio.

On the steps at the entrance she stopped to admire the view and she exclaimed with 'wonderful'.
