(ANSA) - LONDON, JUL 08 - Rishi Sunak, former chancellor of the British Exchequer who resigned earlier this week in the context of the crisis that led to the fall of Boris Johnson, today formalized his candidacy for the succession of BoJoc as Tory leader and future prime minister.
"Let's rebuild trust, revive the economy and reunite the party", is the slogan of 42-year-old Sunak, a Brexit supporter, but a pragmatic figure, of Indian family origins, known for his good relations with the City where he made a career before entering politics.
