This is what emerges from a study by the Nestlé Observatory on the world of recipes and new research habits.

The analysis shows that by age group 18-24 year olds (58%) and 25-34 year olds (49%) rely mainly on Instagram, while the 35-44 year old (58%) mainly draws from websites or blogs. of cooking enthusiasts, 45-54 year olds (43%) prefer tutorials on Youtube and over 55s (53%) choose family cookbooks.

Before the advent of social networks, 62% took their cue mainly from cookbooks and 52% from family cookbooks.

46% looked for the recipe directly through the Internet, 35% through dedicated television broadcasts and 34% relied on recipes read in the newspapers.
