There is hardly a big show on RTL that he does not moderate: the broadcaster has now confirmed that Jan Köppen will also lead through the mad torture format "I'm a star – get me out of here!".

At the moment, no one else is moderating as many game shows on RTL as he does: from "Let's Dance" to "Ninja Warrior", from "Take me out" to RTL tower jumping - Jan Köppen is always there when there are teasing comments on the Cologne-based private broadcaster are required for manageable game processes.

It was only on Friday evening that he moderated the cheerful master-wife show "Top Dog Germany - The Best Dog in Germany".

RTL has now officially announced that the 39-year-old will also lead through the mad torture format "I'm a star – get me out of here!".

Köppen's name has been circulating online for a long time when it came to the question of who could follow long-time jungle moderator Daniel Hartwich.

He gave up the job saying he wanted to take care of his family again.

For the time being, the new RTL all-purpose weapon Köppen will moderate alongside the jungle veteran Sonja Zietlow.

The next season of the humiliation spectacle is scheduled to air in January 2023.

The RTL manager's plan is to then broadcast from Australia again.

Due to the pandemic, the format had to take place as a shrink version in Germany at the beginning of 2021, and at the beginning of this year it was relocated to South Africa - also due to corona.

For RTL, the success of the jungle camp is still elementary, since the broadcaster's creatives, despite great efforts, can hardly come up with similarly successful new show ideas.
