After the passage of the intense wave of
storms
, hail and storms, the
high pressure
of the
Azores
returns to
Italy
, the traditional travel companion of the Italian summers of about 10/15 years ago, with temperatures in line with the values of the period: it
will be
hot
, but without particular excesses.
According to the latest projections, however,
from Thursday 14 and for at least the following ten days
our country will be hit by what could be
the most powerful African heat wave of Summer 2022
.
Over the weekend and until Wednesday 13 July we will have stable weather conditions: sunny all over the country and temperatures in line with the seasonal averages or at most slightly higher.
"So hot, yes, but without excesses and without the bother of the heat as has happened in the last few weeks".
This was stated by
Mattia Gussoni
, meteorologist of the site www.iLMeteo.it, adding that the Upper Azores will only be able to mitigate the climate until Wednesday 13, after which the
African anticyclone
will still dictate the law on our country.
Meteorologists estimate for the
Po Valley
(therefore Milan, Mantua, Bologna, Padua, Verona, Ferrara etc),
Tuscany
(Florence) and
Umbria
(Terni)
temperatures above 38-39 ° C
as early as Friday 15 and at least until July 22nd.
While for the rest of the center and the south, values are expected to be a few degrees lower for now.
Along with the heat there will also be
muggy
and
tropical nights
(i.e. with temperatures always above 20 ° C).
