(ANSA) - BEIJING, JUL 10 - Tetsuya Yamagami, the man who shot and killed former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, told the police that he had tried to make a bomb, in addition to the manufacture of more hand-crafted guns, one of which was used for the crazy gesture.
Kyodo reports, citing investigative sources.
Yamagami, 41, appeared this morning before prosecutors on charges of murder and for formalizing the arrest.
