Vadym
, after operations and treatment at Sant'Eugenio where he had arrived
badly burned
for having tried to save his
mother
from the bombing, was discharged today and will still remain in Rome to recover 100%.

But I want to go back to Ukraine and take a cooking course
- says Vadym alongside the Lazio health councilor Alessio D'Amato - but now I will stay in Rome for a while to see more of the hospital".
Vadym arrived at Sant'Eugenio on 13 May transported on a flight by the Guardia di Finanza, who had escaped a fire on the bus on which he was traveling with his mother who later died.
He arrived with
50% of his body burned
and underwent
two surgeries
on May 20 and June 3 with homologous and autologous dermo-epidermal grafts.
In the following days he began rehabilitation.
Today Vadym is discharged in excellent condition and can resume a normal life.
Throughout this period the ASL Roma 2 together with the Civil Protection took charge of hosting Vadym's aunt and cousin by providing a cultural mediator interpreter for the entire period in order to guarantee maximum assistance.
Vadym will be hosted in the hotel together with his family for at least two - three weeks before returning to Ukraine as they wish.
