(ANSA) - ROME, JUL 11 - "The reduction of about 30% on gas supplies announced by Gazprom for Italy is equivalent to an absolute value of about 10 million cubic meters per day, representing a marginal part of the total daily supply which is largely offset by the other supplies that the government has secured with the diversification plan carried out in recent months ".

This was underlined by the Ecological Transition minister, reiterating that the Government maintains the pre-alert status necessary for the constant monitoring of flows, without any need for emergency measures and a transition to a state of alert.

"Given this situation - explains Mite - the implementation of energy emergency plans with extraordinary saving measures is not foreseen"

and that the plan for the diversification of gas supplies and the achievement of energy independence from Russia "continues as announced, thanks to the agreements made by the Government and by the operators with other countries in the past".
