The IMF cuts growth estimates for the United States.
After + 5.7% in 2021, growth is expected to slow to 2.3% in 2022 and 1.00% in 2023. "The United States has recovered quickly from the shock of the pandemic", but the rapid recovery in demand , along with bottlenecks in supply chains, has translated into "a significant acceleration of inflation," the Fund says in Article IV for the US, in which it notes how the US should narrowly avoid a recession even if the risks that may occur are "significant".
