Israel Katorza

is one of the leading and beloved artists in Israel.

Between a variety of performances, entertainment programs and being a father to no less than seven children, he found time to star in a shiny new campaign, and perhaps no less than that - important for the future of us all.

Katorza will collaborate with Dedi the Cat (dubbed Zion Baruch), the illustrated orange presenter who has starred as the face of the Tamir recycling corporation for the past seven years.

The two will try to raise awareness of the important process and make you, dear surfers, come out of indifference and start doing for the environment.

And now for some important data: Every person in Israel produces an average of about two kilograms of waste every day.

The packaging waste takes up a lot of volume and will take a long time to decompose, but it can go through recycling if we discover responsibility and separate it already at home.

Currently, orange cans are deployed in Israel in 128 local authorities and 75% of the country's residents have orange cans near their homes - so there really are no excuses.

Rani Eidler, CEO of Tamir: "In order to encourage more and more families to join the recycling revolution and separate packaging already at home in a simple and clear way, we created symbols that have meaning, look like small bins in different recycling bins (orange, blue and purple). Cycle Dispose of packaging.

Currently, dozens of companies, including some of the leading companies in the economy whose products are in every home in daily use, mark their products with recycling symbols.

I thank the companies for their voluntary joining of the move, which is another step in the recycling revolution that Israel is going through and calls on more companies to join and mark the recycling symbols.

The residents of Israel, made a small effort at home, separate packaging for the various recycling bins, it has a great contribution to the environment. "

Israel Katorza: "I am proud to participate in the new campaign of the Tamir Recycling Corporation, and to be part of the green revolution that Israel is going through. Let us all take part in this important move - to protect our environment and our ball, for us and our children. It is entirely in our hands."
