Between April and June, Netflix lost 970,000 subscribers to its video streaming service.
In the previous quarter, it had lost some 200,000, for the first time in ten years, triggering a plunge of more than 30% of its action in a panicked market.
For the second quarter, the leaders of the American group had prepared the spirits for much worse, fearing a loss of 2 million users.
Hence the relative relief at the release of the figure of 970,000 which objectively remains very poor.
At the end of June, the number of Netflix subscribers worldwide was only 220.67 million (including 10 million households claimed in France).
