Government: Read, soon to vote, we will continue Draghi's agenda

(ANSA) - ROME, JUL 21 - "I hope there will be elections as soon as possible, I hope we will win and continue with the Draghi program".

The secretary of the Democratic Party said so, interviewed by Bloomberg TV.

    "The vote will be in late September or early October, for the first time in autumn. But we are ready", added Letta.

"I must be very clear - he explained -, Italy is a great country, a great economy, a great population, absolutely democratic: we will go to the vote in the autumn instead of March, it doesn't change so much. But it complicates things because what Draghi had to doing was very important for the relaunch of the country in the autumn. I am sure that the electoral campaign will lead the voters to understand who is responsible and who is not ".
