(ANSA) - ROME, JUL 26 - "The Government requests the authorization to resort to indebtedness, confirming for the year 2022 both the growth forecast of the gross domestic product and the balance plans already authorized with the previous Report to the Parliament of last April and incorporated in the quadroprogrammatic of the Economic and Financial Document 2022, as well as the public debt-GDP ratio ".
This is what we read in the report, signed by Daniele Franco and Mario Draghi, that the government is sending to Parliament with a request to use the margins of 14.3 billion for "urgent interventions" against price increases and inflation.
The report, which is part of the procedures provided for by the law that introduced a balanced budget in the Constitution, will require an "absolute majority" vote by the Chambers.
