A British tourist caught his head in the rotor blades of a helicopter at Athens airport and died, police confirmed to the Sunday Times.
Accordingly, the victim is a 22-year-old man.
The incident happened on Monday afternoon, according to Greek media.
The Brit and three friends were returning from the holiday island of Mykonos by helicopter.
After landing in Athens, the Times writes, the man was the first to exit the Bell 407 helicopter.
He ran backwards and was hit by the tail rotors.
Greek media write that the man got out for unknown reasons, although the tail rotors were still running.
Three people were arrested
According to the police, the man died immediately. After the accident, the pilot and two ground crew technicians were provisionally arrested on Tuesday morning, the Kathimerini newspaper reported.
It is still unclear how the accident happened and the incident is being investigated.
The victim's parents were also reportedly traveling in a helicopter.
They were diverted so as not to end up at the scene of the accident.
The group had planned to travel back to the UK from Athens airport on a private jet.
