There are 63 rural locations in 13 regions that will be able to boast of the Spighe Verdi 2022 recognition compared to last year's 59
: four new entries, net of 7 new entries and, on the other hand, of the 3 unconfirmed Municipalities, with Piedmont remaining on the podium with the highest number at the regional level.

It is the result of the sixth edition of the national program of the Fee - Foundation for Environmental Education, the organization that issues the Blue Flag recognition for coastal resorts worldwide.
The award is designed to guide rural municipalities to choose land management strategies in a virtuous path that is good for the environment and the quality of life.
A game played by the will of the municipal administration and by the participation of the community and businesses, especially agricultural ones.
In fact, the Foundation shared with Confagricoltura a set of indicators capable of photographing land management policies and directing them towards criteria of maximum attention to sustainability.
Going into the details of the ranking presented today, after
Piedmont which obtains the highest number of awards with 10 locations, follows the Marche with 9.
Spikes in
Puglia increase with 8 Municipalities

followed by Tuscany and Calabria on equal merit with 7 and by Umbria, Lazio and Campania with 5 each.
And if the
Veneto
boasts two locations, only one is in
Abruzzo, Emilia-Romagna and Lombardy.
