She traveled to Syria eight years ago and married several fighters from the terrorist organization "Islamic State" one after the other. In Hamburg, an IS returnee from Bremen was sentenced to five and a half years in prison.
With the last man she is said to have kept a Jesidin as a slave and severely abused her.
The State Protection Senate of the Hanseatic Higher Regional Court found the 34-year-old mother of two guilty of membership in a terrorist organization abroad, aiding and abetting genocide, war crimes and crimes against humanity through enslavement.
The court considered it proven that the woman was a member of the terrorist organization.
The federal prosecutor had asked for a prison sentence of seven and a half years, the defense made no specific request for the sentence.
