The first Parisian vaccinodrome against monkey pox has just opened in Paris, in the 13th arrondissement.
Emmanuel Grégoire, first deputy mayor of Paris, said he would be able to vaccinate up to 2,000 people per week from next Monday.
"The demand is extremely strong" in Paris, he said.
But there remains the thorny question of the number of doses of vaccine.
“The question of the availability of doses is uncertain because we do not know what is the volume of doses available at the national level”.
If François Braun, the Minister of Health, assured this Wednesday morning on franceinfo that France had a “very substantial stock”, the exact number is classified “secret-defense”.
