(ANSA) - ROME, JUL 28 - In May it is estimated that industry turnover, net of seasonal factors, increased by 1.4% compared to the previous month (+ 1.5% on the domestic market and + 1.1% on the foreign one).
Istat indicates this, underlining that, albeit "slightly attenuated" compared to the previous month, the economic growth continues with the index still touching its highest level since the beginning of the historical series (January 2000).
In the annual comparison, corrected for the effects of the calendar, total turnover grew by 23.6% (+ 24.2% on the domestic market and + 22.4% on the foreign market).
