With temperatures above 30 degrees, Christmas is actually not to be thought of.

Probably at Aldi.

Users on Twitter have already discovered the first delicacies.

Munich – temperatures above 30 degrees and one heat wave after the other.

With this summery weather, few people give a thought to winter, let alone Christmas.

And yet the familiar cliché has stuck in people's minds that radio stations will be broadcasting Wham!'s "Last Christmas" as early as September.

play and supermarkets then sell the first gingerbread and Santa Clauses.

But in an Aldi branch, this cliché was probably surpassed.

Christmas sweets in August: Aldi surprises customers

At least some users discovered that on Twitter.

There even seems to be a small competition on social media to see who will be the first to discover Christmas treats in the supermarket.

As early as August 19, a user tweeted: "Oh, by the way: First ones!" and posted a photo of several pallets of gingerbread in the supermarket.

Aldi is also getting festive in midsummer: another user received a photo of chocolate Santas in mid-August.

"A friend told me that on 15.08.

Sent from their Aldi," she tweeted.

Already appetite?“.

It seems as if Aldi and Co. are planning to stuff their customers with sweets very early this year.

Enjoy gingerbread and Santa Clauses at 30 degrees?

The delicacies are usually not available until September.

“However, when determining the start of sales, our purchasing department is guided by customer demand.

And they are already waiting for the products before September and keep asking about them in the branches,” wrote Aldi in a blog.

If it's 30 degrees and you don't feel like Santa Claus or gingerbread, you can still use the discounter as a model and get your Christmas presents early this year.

Aldi made strange headlines just a few days ago: an Aldi customer claimed that his one-kilogram pasta pack was missing a total of 367 grams when it was weighed at home. Is such a weight deviation still allowed?

The tz followed up, Aldi reacted.
