Despite the storms, the drought worsens: "It's the reddest card I've ever seen"

The latest alert map published by the Ministry of Ecological Transition displays even more red, synonymous with a state of crisis.

While there were “only” 62 departments on August 9, 77 are now subject to the highest level of water use restriction.

Only three territories are still at the “vigilance” stage, the lowest level of gravity: Paris, Hauts-de-Seine and Seine-Saint-Denis.
