Only about a week after canceling a performance about an hour and a half before it was supposed to take place, the singer and composer Shalom Hanoch announced this evening (Tuesday) the cancellation of his performance planned for the coming Saturday evening at Beit Govrin - which was scheduled following the cancellation about a week ago.
In a post he published on his Facebook page, Hanoch wrote: "My dear audience, as you may know, I am after a herniated disc and am accompanied by daily intensive treatment that requires my full dedication until it is completed. I thought to Tommy that I would be able to hold the upcoming concert at Beit Govrin on August 27, but unfortunately , according to the doctors' decision, it will have to be canceled."
Hanoch, who next week will celebrate his 76th birthday, continued: "The good news is that I'm on the mend and will return to performing on September 2 and beyond, of course depending on the continuation of the treatment. Thank you for your understanding and we'll see you soon, hello."
As mentioned, this is not the first time that Hanoch cancels one of his performances.
Last April he announced the cancellation of several performances after not feeling well.
He reappeared after about two months.
