On March 17, a few hours before Emmanuel Macron unveiled the main lines of his presidential program, certain employer and union representatives met in a famous Parisian brasserie.
After two years of ups and downs and battle over unemployment insurance, everyone thought that
"it was certain that there would be no need to put the cover back"
in the event of the re-election of the outgoing president.
Six months later, the same are disillusioned because the social partners will soon be invited to reopen, once again, this thorny site.
The Ministry of Labor must indeed send them this Friday, for consultation, its first social bill of the five-year term.
This text, which will be debated in October in Parliament, will be short (three articles!).
It will include an overhaul of the device for validating prior learning (VAE), a modification of a provision concerning professional elections and, above all, the underlying of a new reform of unemployment insurance.
