Stock markets of the Old Continent little moved with negative trend after the flat start of Wall street and waiting for the start of the speech by Fed President Powell at the Jackson Hole meeting: Milan is the weakest stock market with a drop of 0.6 %, followed by Madrid down by 0.3% and Amsterdam by 0.2%.
The lists of Paris and Frankfurt were flat, up by 0.1% in London.
Tension on government bonds is strong: the 10-year BTP yield grows by 17 basis points to 3.7%, with the sprad against Germany on 230 basis points, at the highest level of the day.
