(ANSA) - ROME, AUGUST 31 - 21,817 new infections from Covid have been registered in the last 24 hours, according to data from the Health Minister.
Yesterday the infected were 31,088.
There are 90 victims, slightly down from 98 yesterday.
The swabs carried out are 167,495.
The rate is 13%, down from 14.9% yesterday.
There are 213 patients admitted to intensive care, 13 less than yesterday, in the balance between entries and exits, while the daily entries are 17. On the other hand, the hospitalized in the ordinary wards are 5,091, 336 fewer in the last twenty-four hours.
The currently positive are 645,933, compared to yesterday 14,308 less.
21,046,229 (+36,032) have been discharged and healed, while the total number of cases since the beginning of the pandemic is 21,867,757, that of deaths is 175,595.
