A special sock is designed to protect against stones in the shoe - can "socklaender" convince the jury in the second episode "Die Höhle der Löwen"?

Hikers in particular, but gardeners too, can tell you a thing or two about it: you’ve hardly been outside doing gardening for a while before you notice sharp stones or other troublemakers in your shoes.

Two founders from Hennef want to convince the jury with the product "socklaender".

In the second episode "The Lion's Den" it gets dusty: The friends Nadim Ledschbor (54) and Tobias Ross (34) have wheelbarrows, shovels and sand in their luggage to be able to demonstrate their business model properly.

Because garden and landscape designer Tobias was bothered by one thing in his daily work: "The dirt in his shoes like sand, small stones or sawdust." The passionate hiker Nadim also knows the problem: "I climbed Kilimanjaro years ago and found small stones or other things Foreign objects in the shoe make hiking problematic.

It is difficult to remove them: sit down, take off your shoe, take out the foreign object and put your shoe back on.

And if things are going really badly, you still have sore spots on your feet.”

"The Lion's Den" (Vox): Is there a deal?

Since there is no comparable product on the market, Tobias developed "socklaender".

Due to the double shaft of the sock, which are connected to each other, nothing can fall into the shoe.

The outer shaft is simply slipped over the shoe and you are ready for hiking tours or working in the flower bed.

Thanks to the breathable composition of cotton, polyamide and elastane, a pleasant foot climate is guaranteed, while the integrated silicone strips should give a better grip in the shoe.

In addition, padding in areas of the foot that are particularly stressed ensure that pressure points or blisters don't stand a chance.

Jury member Nils Glagau is often out in nature himself and undertakes a practical test.

Will the protective socks for craftsmen and hikers survive and will there be an investment of 60,000 euros for 20 percent of the company shares?

You can find out whether Nadim and Tobias get the deal with their innovative socks on Monday evening at 8.15 p.m. on VOX or on RTL+.

In the first episode, the anti-pesticide product "lemonist" was able to convince the jury.
