(ANSA) - ROME, 02 SEP - There are 19,160 new infections from Covid registered in the last 24 hours, according to data from the Health Minister.
Yesterday the infected were 20,503.
The victims are 91, up from 68 yesterday.
The swabs carried out are 158,970.
The rate is 12.1%, down from 13.2% yesterday.
195 patients are hospitalized in intensive care, 12 less than yesterday, in the balance between entries and exits, while daily admissions are 19. The hospitalized in ordinary wards are 4,819, 143 fewer in the last twenty-four hours.
Currently positive are 620,385, compared to yesterday 13,809 less.
21,111,274 (+32,876) have been discharged and healed, while the total number of cases since the beginning of the pandemic is 21,907,413, that of deaths is 175,754.
