Jane Fonda
was
diagnosed with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma: the legendary actress and activist herself made it known on her social accounts, reporting that she had begun chemotherapy.
"This is a very treatable cancer. 80% of people survive, so I feel very lucky," she explained.
"I am very lucky - she adds - also because I have health insurance and access to the best doctors and treatments. I realize, and it is painful, that I am privileged in this. Almost every family in America has had to deal with cancer in one way or another and too many people don't have access to the quality of the health service I'm receiving, and that's not fair. "
