DOLCEACQUA - Antroposcene was born in the province of Imperia, the first open-air ethnographic museum, which tells the story of the rural heritage spread over the territories of Dolceacqua, San Biagio della Cima and Soldano (in Val Nervia and Val Crosia).

It is an ethno-anthropological path guided by digital media, immersive dynamics and augmented reality, which through a special application gives voice to 34 kilometers of trails, 21 points of interest and six thousand years of dialogue between man and nature.

The project was born from the synergy of various entities, in addition to the municipalities concerned, including the Cai di Bordighera and the Luzzati-Teatro della Tosse Foundation, with the contribution of the Compagnia di San Paolo Foundation (Bando In Luce).


    "The goal is to enhance the territory in a different way, to live in the open air and in uncontaminated places, discover the origins of our territory in a digital and unusual way - says the mayor of Dolceacqua, Fulvio Gazola -.


    Among these villages of the he extreme west of Liguria, in the hinterland between Bordighera and Ventimiglia, is thus a new cultural landscape, aimed at trekkers, scholars of ethnography and environmental sustainability, and nature lovers ".


    "On these stone hills of Flysch, where over time human settlements have generated names of places, the 'nomerances', Antroposcene is born, a spectacular journey back in time, up to climate change, passing from the castles to the Greeks , to the Romans and


    Starting from the mapping of 21 assets of historical, cultural and environmental interest, Antroposcene tells the cultural identity of a territory, giving voice to the tangible and intangible heritage of the three villages.

The inauguration is scheduled for Saturday 10, at 17, in La Colla street, in Dolceacqua.

At the end the Teatro della Tosse will propose "Di Ulivi, Vigneti, Storie e Silenzio" (Text and Directed by Amedeo Romeo), a traveling show to tell the places, stories, traditions and characters of the territory.

A theatrical show that is also a trekking, along a path of 1.6 kilometers, immersed in the scents of the hinterland.
