For ten years, Sandrine and Julien* follow a path almost without pitfalls, launched on the trajectory of couples who "roll".
A meeting at 18, a move in at 20, a wedding at 26 and a child project at 28. Then, a year of unsuccessful attempts and the couple falls into the trying world of medically assisted procreation (PMA).
The "obstacle course", they say.
They start very united.
It's Julien who pricks Sandrine for ovarian stimulation.
In seven years, there have been seven IVFs.
Seven failures.
"After the last one in 2018, the pain was no longer experienced together, but each on his own", testifies today Sandrine, at 42 years old.
Looking back, she says they “held on” but didn't want to see the ties loosen.
“The PMA had put a heavy screed on daily life and the days looked more and more alike.
At one point he wanted something else, I needed carelessness.
And it was over."
