(ANSA) - KABUL, 05 SEPT - The victims of this morning's suicide attack on the Russian embassy in Kabul are 6, and not 25.
According to the spokesman for the security of the Afghan capital, Khalid Zadran, the suicide bomber wanted to blow himself up in the crowd lining up to obtain a visa, but was killed by the guards before reaching his goal.
The shots caused the explosion, killing 6 people: 2 employees of the diplomatic mission and 4 Afghan citizens.
A spokesman for the Ministry of the Interior confirmed in a tweet the death of the 2 employees of the embassy and added that "4 civilian comrades" were killed and "several others injured".
