(ANSA) - TEL AVIV, 05 SEPT - In the circumstances of the death of Palestinian journalist Shireen Abu Akleh, which occurred in Jenin (West Bank) during a firefight, no elements were found that would make it necessary to open a criminal investigation.
This was stated by the Israeli military judiciary.
"After a thorough examination of the incident, and on the basis of its results - states a statement - the Attorney General of the armed forces has established that despite the severe outcome - the death of Abu Akleh and the wounding of the journalist Ali Samudy - there is no I suspect that an attopenal has occurred, such as to require the opening of an investigation ".
