Starmer vs Truss, 'priority of bills, no tax cuts'

(ANSA) - LONDON, 05 SEPT - "Where will you find the money for your plan?".

This is the question posed by the leader of the Labor opposition Keir Starmer to incoming British Prime Minister LizTruss, after her victory in the internal election to the Conservative party for the succession of Boris Johnson was announced.

Starmer accuses her of carrying out an unattainable government program and asks how the new leader will find the financial resources for a strong tax cut while there are priorities to be addressed such as the high bill crisis and the public health system (NHS) "on its knees".
