A barrier guard attacked and injured an employee of the Norddeutscher Rundfunk (NDR) and an interviewee during a dispute about filming at a level crossing in Lower Saxony.
As the police in Oldenburg announced, the NDR camera team was taking pictures at the level crossing in the community of Rastede.
An employee of the Pro Bahn passenger association was also to be interviewed.
During the shooting, there was a dispute with the 36-year-old so-called level crossing guard, who apparently did not agree with the filming.
In the course of the argument, the man then repeatedly punched a 48-year-old NDR employee in the face and the back of the head.

The 40-year-old employee of the passenger association then intervened to help the victim.
He was also hit twice by the gatekeeper.
After the attacks, he went back to his vehicle.
On the way there, he knocked over a camera standing on a tripod and, according to the information, severely damaged the lens.
The two victims required hospital treatment.
Police launched an investigation into assault and property damage.
Witnesses to the attack were asked to come forward.
