Barely arrived in London, the new king of England went to meet the crowd, and was offered flowers by people gathered in front of Buckingham Palace.
While Queen Elizabeth II was not used to crowd bathing, her son and successor, King Charles III, immediately visited the Victoria Memorial this Friday, September 9.
Under the eye of cameras around the world, he came to greet the crowd gathered in front of the gates of Buckingham.
The father of Princes William and Harry appeared smiling, alongside his wife, Queen Consort Camilla.
At the sound of cries of “God Save the King!”, he shook hands, even accepting the kisses that were eager to give him daring Britons.

A meticulous protocol
After spending the night at Balmoral Castle in Scotland, where Elizabeth II died, King Charles returned to London in a Royal Air Force jet before returning to the palace.
He is due to record his first royal address in the afternoon, which will be broadcast at 6 p.m. (London time).
He will then meet Prime Minister Liz Truss, and work out the final details of his mother's funeral during a meeting with the Duke of Norfolk.
Prince Charles became king automatically after the death of Elizabeth II on Thursday September 8.
At 73, the now 'King Charles III' will be officially proclaimed King on Saturday, September 10, at 11 a.m., by the Council of Succession, made up of senior politicians, bishops, City of London dignitaries and Commonwealth Ambassadors.
All in front of an audience of 10,000 guests, gathered at St James's Palace.
He will then embark on an official tour over the next few days, visiting the four countries that make up the United Kingdom.
Namely: England, Northern Ireland, Wales and Scotland.

On Thursday, September 8, the eldest brother of princes Andrew and Edward and princess Anne, expressed his pain in a press release.
