The 79th edition of the Venice International Film Festival closes on Saturday 10 September.
At 12.30 in the space of the Ente dello Spettacolo (Tropicana 1 room of the Hotel Excelsior) the collateral prizes will be awarded.
At 7 pm the
OFFICIAL AWARDS CEREMONY
will begin in the Sala Grande (also broadcast live at the Palabiennale) with the godmother Rocio Munoz Morales.
The closing film out of competition will follow,

by Francesco Carrozzini, a noir drama with Alessandro Borghi based on Jo Nesbo's bestselling Midnight Sun.

John is on the run after betraying his father, a crime boss.
Pursued by his brother, John heads to the far north.
He arrives in an isolated village, where the sun never sets, with a small community with strict religious rules, which seems to belong to another time.
Here he meets Lea, a woman in difficulty but with great strength, and he is her son Caleb.
Lea also has her own demons: the death at sea of her violent husband Aaron.
As the days go by, the three are getting closer.
