A nine-month-old baby died in Vienna after falling from a balcony.
The police suspect that the eleven-year-old brother could have something to do with it.
The child died in hospital on Friday evening after being found in a meadow in front of the house.
"There is currently a suspicion that the 11-year-old is connected to the death of his brother," reports the police.
The boy has a neurological disease.
According to the police, the 33-year-old mother of the two was in the kitchen, and the children were in the living room together.
When the mother returned there, the baby was gone.
According to the police, the boy is in the care of relatives for the time being.
The further procedure will be coordinated with the youth welfare office.
