Countdown to the challenge between homemade tiramisu: this is what was proposed on October 2nd in Treviso with the "5th Tiramisu Challenge".
A jury made up of the chefs of Assocuochi Treviso will judge the participants on the dessert prepared with mascarpone, eggs, coffee, ladyfingers, sugar, bitter cocoa.
Regardless of age, gender and area of residence, all fans can participate in the competition with the desire to showcase their tiramisu made according to traditional recipes.
Pastry chefs or patisserie owners cannot participate.
Each participant can compete with only one tiramisu.
The competition, organized by the Tiramisù Association of Treviso in collaboration with the Associazione Assocuochi Treviso - Italian Federation of Chefs - and the Telethon Foundation, will take place from 9:00 to 10:00.
The tiramisu must have a name that identifies them, even if it is a fantasy, which will be communicated together with the list of ingredients in the appropriate "cake sheet" at the time of registration on the site.
The dessert cannot have writings that connect them to the person who made them.
The quantity of tiramisu to bring is about 500g and must have a round shape in accordance with the Treviso tradition.
Registration for the competition is free, and can take place, if still available, directly from the tiramisudaytreviso.it website by filling in the appropriate registration form.
The Tiramisu will be evaluated by the jury according to the aesthetic aspect, goodness, traditional aspects, proportions of the ingredients, overall judgment.
the overall winner will be announced at the Salone del Palazzo dei Trecento with the award ceremony at 3.00 pm.
