Rewarded by the Grand Prix at Cannes, the 31-year-old Belgian director signs a film about tenderness and vulnerability.
“I realized that we are more accustomed to images of men fighting than those of men supporting each other, he explained in Cannes.
So I wanted to make a film about tenderness, with images of young people hugging each other, freeing themselves from the gaze of others.
The film will be released in theaters on November 1, 2022.
