Bad surprise for Bayern Munich striker Thomas Mueller, who on his 33rd birthday suffered a theft at home while playing against Barcelona on the second day of the Champions League, at the Allianz Arena.
The police announced that in a villa in Otterfing, a village south of Munich, money, jewelry and valuables were stolen, for an estimated value of around 500 thousand euros.
The police have not disclosed the identity of the owner but according to Bild the villa is precisely that of Thomas Mueller.
At least two thieves fled when the police arrived a few minutes later but, despite the searches, they have been lost track.
