(ANSA) - ROME, SEPTEMBER 17 - The Italian "free-lance" journalist Mattia Sorbi, injured near Kherson on 31 August, is returning by plane to Milan with medical assistance, in an operation managed by the Crisis Unit of the Farnesina in collaboration with the Italian Red Cross and the Russian Red Cross.
This was announced by the Foreign Ministry, adding that the Red Cross "in particular made it possible to transfer the journalist from Kherson to Mineralnye Vodi airport, in the Russian Federation, to then continue the journey to Italy via Istanbul with an ambulance prepared by the Farnesina.
