The 82-year-old Danish Queen Margrethe II has contracted Corona.
The announced the royal palace.
It is the monarch's second corona test this year that is positive.
Margrethe II has been vaccinated three times, and when she became ill in February she only showed mild symptoms, it said.
Margrethe has now canceled all official commitments for the current week.
Crown Prince Frederik and his wife, Crown Princess Mary, will represent the Queen in her official duties.
Among them is a dinner with Danish government officials and MPs.
The monarch has been the world's longest-serving female head of state since the death of Elizabeth II on September 8.
She has been on the throne for 50 years.
Elizabeth II, who died at the age of 96, had reigned for 70 years.
Margrethe traveled to London for the Queen's funeral on Monday.
The test was positive on Tuesday.
The Queen had sat in the first row of the foreign royals at the funeral service for the Queen in Westminster Abbey in London next to her son Frederik and the royal couple from Sweden.
Directly opposite her, on the other side of the coffin, sat the new British King Charles III.
Out of respect for the deceased, Margrethe had significantly reduced the celebrations for her 50th anniversary on September 10th and 11th.
Among other things, she renounced an appearance on the balcony of the Amalienborg Palace and a carriage ride through the capital Copenhagen.
Margrethe was proclaimed Queen on January 15, 1972 - just one day after her father, King Frederik IX, died after a short illness
