(ANSA) - BRUSSELS, OCTOBER 14 - There is still "no agreement" among the EU leaders on the gas price cap.
This was reported by a high-ranking EU official in view of the European summit of 20 and 21 October in Brussels.
The theme, he explains, "must be further explored by the competent ministers and at different levels" since the member countries have "different points of view" and propose "different solutions", which "depending on the case" would have "different effects" throughout Europe.
"The idea of a dynamic roof requires further discussion," points out the source.
The EU summit, he continues, will serve to "probe the support of the Member States" for the various options on the table.
