(ANSA) - ROME, OCTOBER 14 - The Russian president, Vladimir Putin, during the Eurasian summit underway in Astana, confirmed that Russia is open to the prospect of talks with Ukraine.

Putin then said that at the moment there is no longer a need for "massive attacks" on Ukrainian infrastructure.
