Haney retains world lightweight champion title

American wins match against Australian Kambosos in Melbourne (ANSA) American Devin Haney retained his world lightweight title by winning a rematch against Australian George Kambosos in Melbourne on Sunday. Haney (23), who had been the first boxer to unify the titles in the era of the four belts (WBC, WBA, IBF and WBO), which started in 2004, and who was clearly the favorite before the fight, has established himself points by unanimous decision of the ring judges.
