Following the exclusive publication in Vala Real Estate about the protest of the Druze community, yesterday (Saturday 15.10) a protest rally was held, one of the largest in the history of relations between the State of Israel and the Druze community, in which thousands of Druze participated in Isfaia as a protest against the lack of planning horizons on the part of the state. The rally calls for a boycott of the upcoming elections, including Until an adequate solution is found to the problem of building permits in the residential areas of the Druze community.
According to senior members of the community in Israel, since the 1970s no solution has been found for the needs of the community, they are belittled and taken for granted - this at a time when the Druze community is loyal to the State of Israel, serves in the IDF and the security forces, and maintains the most historic alliance with the Jewish people and the State of Israel.
The senior members of the community emphasize that this time, after 50 years in which they did not find a proper solution to the problem of building permits, they intend not to move to the agenda and to continue using legal means to fight for what they claim is a basic right and not a passing one.
The event was attended by Minister Hamed Amar from Israel Beitenu and former member of the Knesset Akram Hasson who were severely criticized.

Raik Shroff, one of the organizers of the rally:
"It cannot be that the state prevents us from building on our private lands and does not do enough to regulate the issue of illegal construction. We ask the state not to turn us into criminals."
Saleh Abu Rokan:
"This is just the beginning of our struggle, we will continue to struggle until the state stops taking revenge on us."
