(ANSA) - LONDON, OCTOBER 17 - British Prime Minister Liz Truss has apologized for having "gone too far and too quickly" with the reforms that have triggered economic turbulence, but has promised to remain in command despite a series of difficulties.
"I want to accept responsibility and apologize for the mistakes that have been made ... we have gone too far and too fast," she told the BBC, adding that she still plans to lead the Conservatives to the next general elections.
